UCSF precision health initiative deploys population screening

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Health System will present a webinar on the impact of population screening in precision health and the potential outcomes for health systems. UCSF Health recently launched a precision medicine initiative offering free whole genome sequencing to all of its patients. The initiative aims to deliver actionable genetic risk factors for selected diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. UCSF leaders believe their experiences to date could be useful for other health systems. The webinar will take place on Tuesday, April 6, from 12-1 p.m. CT. Registration is available on the American Hospital Association website.
