Start your journey to Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP®) certification by studying for the exam with a cohort of colleagues. This unique AONL program combines the CENP on-demand content with weekly discussion forums during a 4-week period.
The discussion forums, with CENP faculty participation, allows participants to talk through each week’s topic(s), learn from each other and translate new executive-level competencies immediately into practice. A live session with faculty concludes the program providing key takeaways and test-taking preparation guidance.
Participants prepare for the exam through an in-depth review of executive practice based on the experience of CENP certified nurses and a review of the AONL Nurse Executive Competencies®:

Who should participate?
This program is designed for nurse executives that intend to sit for the CENP Certification Exam and would like to learn through a facilitated setting. AONL offers an on-demand CENP review course for people interested in learning at their own pace.
Schedule
The CENP on-demand course takes approximately 13 hours to complete. Move through the content over a 6 week period by spending 2.5 hours per week on content as outlined below. During the facilitated portion, learn from peers and faculty through discussion forums, faculty sessions, and drop-in hours. All sessions are scheduled to meet at 4:00–5:00 p.m. CT (week 5 is 1.5 hour session). Session details available within the AONL online learning platform.

The live faculty-led session will be hosted via Zoom teleconference. Attendees are encouraged to participate using Zoom teleconferencing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Please review the technical requirements needed for Zoom teleconferencing.

Cancellation
A refund minus 20% will be granted to written requests received 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Shanna Sweeney at ssweeney@aha.org. We regret will not be able to grant refunds after this date. Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member of AONL and the original registrant is a member, the nonmember differential must be paid.Questions?

The American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. AONL is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15740. AONL is authorized to award 13 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit (non-ACHE) for this program toward advancement, or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
