Share best practices and leadership strategies on navigating the current healthcare landscape from an operational, structural, political, and/or financial perspective.

• Examples may include the following: Creating and executing a nursing strategy; Successful collaborations with finance to reduce costs while maintaining nursing quality; Demonstrating the value of nursing; Leading in a union environment; Building an advocacy program an elevating nursing involvement on key legislative issues affecting patients, communities and nursing practice.

Demonstrate work (case studies, research, pilot projects) that showcase emerging technologies such as AI, ambient listening, bio-intelligent wearables, automation, and clinical integration/interoperability —are reshaping health care delivery, clinical documentation, and decision-making.

• Examples may include the following: Reduction of administrative burden; Demonstrated return on investment; Implementation/integration in acute, ambulatory, academic, and community settings; Clinical AI in simulation/academic curricula.

Highlight culture-changing approaches that move beyond awareness to measurable prevention, intervention, and support for nurses and nurse leaders.

• Examples may include the following: Addressing incivility, bullying, and workplace violence, in a specific setting; Overcoming toxic leadership environments; Successful strategies to expand best practices and strategies to the ambulatory environment; Addressing microaggressions amongst nurse leaders, interprofessional colleagues, and the patients and families nurses serve.

From frontline to executive, we seek stories of nursing leadership development, succession planning, mentorship, and strategies for leading in an era of ambiguity and transformation.

• Examples may include the following: Outcomes of executive leaders in CEO and COO roles; Research and elevation of nursing leadership science; Innovations in graduate-level curriculum/preparation for nurse leaders; Advanced Practice Provider leadership and organizational structures; Leading through an organizational restructure.

Bring forward strategies for workforce retention, flexible staffing models and innovative models of care, multigenerational leadership, and integrating well-being and professional identity across care settings.

• Examples may include the following:Addressing/elevating the professional identity of nurses and nurse leaders; Professional branding and social media image of nursing leadership; Successful transformation of comprehensive care delivery models in any setting and across the continuum; Academic-Practice partnerships impacting student and nurse well-being.
